Club Dress Code And Equipment Requirements
DRESS CODE and EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
Whereas we aim to be a progressive and forward-looking club, we do not consider it unreasonable to have in place a Dress Code.
The Dress Code is intended to ensure that our members and guests dress appropriately for golf and is aimed at them being presentably smart and tidy with the intention of an enjoyable golf experience for all.
Equipment
All golfers must play with their own set of clubs and are not permitted to share clubs.
In relation to use of buggies, please see our Buggy Policy
During the winter/inclement weather, we reserve the right to prevent/restrict the use of golf trolleys eg. by insisting that ‘winter wheels’ are used
The Professional shop staff and club management are entitled to enforce dress code and failure to meet the required standards will result in not being granted access to the golf course.
Dress Code
Generally clothing and footwear should be designed and sold specifically for golf. Trousers or shorts should be tailored.
Other sports or lounge wear will not be permitted.
Socks must be worn at all times. Long or short white socks are acceptable with short tailored trousers. Our preference is that white socks are worn
Hats may be worn, as designed.
Shirts or tops should be tucked in unless they are particularly close fitting.
Shirts should have a collar unless they are designed and sold specifically for golf.
Denim items, cargo shorts, trainers, football shirts or collarless shirts are not appropriate.
